Craft Beer Tour Prague – Three Microbreweries, Nine Tastings

Fresh Czech craft beer being poured at a microbrewery

Prague’s craft beer scene has shifted substantially over the last decade. The mass-produced lager is still everywhere, but the city now has a genuine concentration of small-batch microbreweries worth visiting on their own terms.

What separates craft beer in Prague

Czech craft brewers tend to stay close to traditional Bohemian methods while experimenting with hop varieties and fermentation times. The results are clean and complex, partly because the Czech water supply and Žatec hop region are exceptional.

On the tour you visit three microbreweries and taste nine different beers. The guide covers what each brewery does differently and why certain styles work better here than in other countries.

The tour details
